The original Petromax Dutch Oven is ideally suited to cooking and baking in the open air or in the oven at home. Cast-iron pots exist since the 18th century. Even at that time the unique properties of cast iron were appreciated. With the Dutch oven, Petromax takes up this tradition and also provides the Dutch oven with a multitude of refined details.
Cast iron Petromax quality
Thanks to the amazing characteristics of cast iron and the special structure of the surface, heat is efficiently stored and distributed. The pre-treated surface (seasoned finish) makes a first seasoning unnecessary, and the sturdy Dutch oven can be used right away. In the open air, it is used on an open fire or with charcoal and briquettes. The raised edge of the lid makes it possible to place embers or charcoal also on the Dutch oven. The Dutch oven is thus heated from all sides and is for example suitable for baking bread.
Great cooking pleasure thanks to sophisticated details
The Dutch oven is provided with ingenious details that make it easy for you to handle and that offer you an amazing cooking experience. The Dutch oven can be safely lifted thanks to a sturdy handle, and a thermometer hole makes it possible for you to check the temperature without having to lift the lid. When you need it, lifting the hot lid is particularly easy thanks to the Petromax Lid Lifter. Another special feature is that the upturned lid can also be used as a pan. Beside all these ingenious details, the Dutch oven has a traditional Petromax design: The lid is decorated with the elegant dragon logo, which has always stood for excellent quality and top-of-the-range products. Soups, meat dishes, as well as stews, casseroles and even cakes, can be prepared outstandingly in the Dutch oven.
Available in various sizes and can be completed with practical accessories
The Petromax Dutch Oven is available in several sizes, so that the right one can be chosen according to the recipe or the number of persons. The ft0.5 without legs has a capacity of ca. 0.56 litres in order to prepare sauces and desserts. For the Petromax Dutch Oven, other accessories than the Lid Lifter are available, like the Transport and Storage Bag, the Care Conditioner and also cleaning utensils for cast iron. Moreover we offer a Dutch Oven Trivet and Cast-iron Trivets (ft6 and up) that make it possible to cook and bake food without burning anything.

If you pay our store via PayPal, then we will only deliver to the address provided to us by PayPal. Any errors in the information supplied are at the sole responsibly of the customer.
The company (us) shall not be held liable for delays with delivery of goods caused by third parties. In the event of a lost package we will require up to 14 business days before being able to replace or credit for any lost goods.

Overnight & Express Delivery
Overnight delivery is not available for Zones C & D Highlands and Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Guernsey and Jersey, Isle of Scilly.
If chosen as a shipping option we will dispatch asap. However, we cannot 100% guarantee delivery in the timescale stated due to issues that may arise during the delivery process that are beyond our control. Shipping charges will therefore not be refunded

Your order will arrive usually the following working day between 9am and 6pm.
Overnight Courier orders need to be placed before the cut off time of 1pm during the working week. Orders placed on a weekend will not be fulfilled until the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday
Age Restricted Items
Due to a new law governing the supply and delivery of bladed items, such items will be shipped on Express Delivery using DPD, Royal Mail & Parcelforce Couriers who will ask to see valid ID on the doorstep before releasing your item (i.e. Driving license, Passport)
Non Delivery
Genuine postal losses are rare in the UK, in most cases orders have been returned to us by the post office as simply uncollected when buyers have reported items as undelivered.
Please check with your local delivery office before contacting us about non-delivery. Where items are returned to us we will contact you and a postage charge will be made before items can be redelivered.
Age Verification
It is illegal to sell knives or crossbows to anyone under the age of 18. Your age will be checked in the background before dispatched. We will contact you via email & text message if we require more information.
