Stainless Chromium Steel: The stainless steel used by Marttiini is effortlessly maintained and retains sharpness over extended periods. It contains 13% chromium and boasts a hardness of 53-54 Rockwell units (HRC). We recommend the use of a diamond sharpener for sharpening chromium steel blades.

Birch: Regular, straight-grained birch is a favoured material for many of Marttiini's traditional knives. Birch is prized for its durability and elegant finish.

Leather Sheath: The leather sheaths for Marttiini knives are expertly crafted from either vegetable or chrome-tanned oxhide, sourced from Europe and South America. These sheaths come in both dyed and natural shades, and their production remains primarily a handmade process. Each sheath is meticulously sized and shaped to ensure a perfect fit for the knife. A section of leather is meticulously cut with a model iron, and the seams are securely attached with glue before sewing. Many sheaths incorporate a plastic insert to provide support and protect the blade. The sheath's embellishments, including rivets and, in some cases, a bronze collar, serve to strengthen and adorn this essential accessory.

If you pay our store via PayPal, then we will only deliver to the address provided to us by PayPal. Any errors in the information supplied are at the sole responsibly of the customer.
The company (us) shall not be held liable for delays with delivery of goods caused by third parties. In the event of a lost package we will require up to 14 business days before being able to replace or credit for any lost goods.

Zones C & D - Offshore Destinations* Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Guernsey and Jersey, Isle of Scilly will be by courier for large items between 2-5kg at £12.95
Overnight & Express Delivery
Overnight delivery is not available for Zones C & D Highlands and Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Guernsey and Jersey, Isle of Scilly.
If chosen as a shipping option we will dispatch asap. However, we cannot 100% guarantee delivery in the timescale stated due to issues that may arise during the delivery process that are beyond our control. Shipping charges will therefore not be refunded

Your order will arrive usually the following working day between 9am and 6pm.
Overnight Courier orders need to be placed before the cut off time of 1pm during the working week. Orders placed on a weekend will not be fulfilled until the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday
Age Restricted Items
Due to a new law governing the supply and delivery of bladed items, such items will be shipped on Express Delivery using DPD, Royal Mail & Parcelforce Couriers who will ask to see valid ID on the doorstep before releasing your item (i.e. Driving license, Passport)
Non Delivery
Genuine postal losses are rare in the UK, in most cases orders have been returned to us by the post office as simply uncollected when buyers have reported items as undelivered.
Please check with your local delivery office before contacting us about non-delivery. Where items are returned to us we will contact you and a postage charge will be made before items can be redelivered.
Age Verification
It is illegal to sell knives or crossbows to anyone under the age of 18. Your age will be checked in the background before dispatched. We will contact you via email & text message if we require more information.
